The short version: no cookies, no ad trackers, no tracking scripts.
What this site does
- Gobi Daily sets no cookies.
- Pages load nothing from other companies' servers: fonts, images and scripts all come from gobidaily.com.
- There are no advertising or social-media trackers.
Server logs
Like every website, our server and the Cloudflare network that delivers the site record basic request details: IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user agent. We use them to keep the site secure and to count total visits. We don't use them to identify or follow individual readers.
YouTube videos
Each article can show Gobi's Short. The video player is not loaded until you press play. When you do, it loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com, andGoogle's privacy policy applies to it. Links to YouTube open YouTube itself.
Analytics
We don't run an analytics script.
We don't collect email addresses. Following Gobi on YouTube or by RSS doesn't share anything with us.
